Edith Averilla Tucker 
Edith Averilla was born on January 5th, 1903 in Blanket, Brown County, Texas.1 Edith Averilla's father was Andrewton Marion Tucker and her mother was Mary Jane Welty. Her paternal grandparents were Levi Tucker and Margaret Etta McBride; her maternal grandparents were Joseph S Welty and Martha Elizabeth Smith. She had a brother and six sisters, named Joseph Preston, Alma Loucille, Annie Pearl, Carrie Olean, Grace Irene, Lois Marie and Jessie Ruth. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named David Levi, George William, Claud Edwin, Clarence Columbus, Elizabeth and Maggie Elizabeth. She died at the age of 75 in September 1978.1 -
