Carrie Olean Tucker

Carrie Olean was born on December 25th, 1901 in Blanket, Brown County, Texas.¹ Carrie Olean's father was Andrewton Marion Tucker and her mother was Mary Jane Welty. Her paternal grandparents were Levi Tucker and Margaret Etta McBride; her maternal grandparents were Joseph S Welty and Martha Elizabeth Smith. She had a brother and six sisters, named Joseph Preston, Alma Loucille, Annie Pearl, Edith Averilla, Grace Irene, Lois Marie and Jessie Ruth. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named David Levi, George William, Claud Edwin, Clarence Columbus, Elizabeth and Maggie Elizabeth. She died at the age of 38 on September 26th, 1940.¹
