Cynthia F. was born on March 10th, 1832 in TN.1 Cynthia F.'s father was James P. Todd and her mother was Mary Jane Dunaway. Her paternal grandparents were William Todd and Jane Douglas. She had three brothers and eight sisters, named James P., John E. W., Jefferson Bradford, Saline, Rebecca Elizabeth, Mary Caroline, Sarah J., Louisa Martha, Amanda Catherine, Melissa Palestine and Sarah Malissa. She was the oldest of the twelve children.1
