Joseph Thomas

Joseph was born about 1864 in Henderson, Indiana.¹ Joseph's father was Andrew Jackson Thomas and his mother was Martha Patsey Spivey. His paternal grandparents were Ira John Thed Wilson and Mary Elizabeth Betsey Thomas; his maternal grandparents were James Spivey and Mary Johnson. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Kimber Azo, Sidney, Garrett, James [Jim], Elizabeth, Amanda, Lucy and Araminda. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.¹
