Garrett Thomas

Garrett was born on August 9th, 1869 in Henderson, Indiana.¹ Garrett's father was Andrew Jackson Thomas and his mother was Martha Patsey Spivey. His paternal grandparents were Ira John Thed Wilson and Mary Elizabeth Betsey Thomas; his maternal grandparents were James Spivey and Mary Johnson. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Kimber Azo, Sidney, Joseph, James [Jim], Elizabeth, Amanda, Lucy and Araminda. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 88 on November 29th, 1957.¹
