James [Jim] Thomas

James [Jim] was born on September 3rd, 1874 in Henderson, Indiana.¹ James [Jim]'s father was Andrew Jackson Thomas and his mother was Martha Patsey Spivey. His paternal grandparents were Ira John Thed Wilson and Mary Elizabeth Betsey Thomas; his maternal grandparents were James Spivey and Mary Johnson. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Kimber Azo, Sidney, Joseph, Garrett, Elizabeth, Amanda, Lucy and Araminda. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 84 in 1958 in Mossville, Newton, Arkansas.¹
