James B Thomas 
James B was born in 1854 in Owsley, Kentucky.1 James B's father was Joseph Thomas and his mother was Anna Jemina Couch. His paternal grandparents were Marchant Thomas and Jemima Hamilton. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named William, Elisha, Levi, Eli, Jane, Polly Mary, Jemina, Elizabeth, Catherin, Rebecca, Margaret and Rhoda. He was the youngest of the thirteen children.1 -
