Joseph Thomas

Joseph was born in 1800 in Lavonia, Franklin, Georgia.¹   Joseph's father was Marchant Thomas and his mother was Jemima Hamilton. He had six brothers and three sisters, named James, Jesse, Hamilton, Reuben, Isaac, Elisha, Jane, Mary Elizabeth Betsey and Catherine.  He was the third oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 75 on February 24th, 1875 in Owsley, Kentucky.¹
