Meshach King Spears 
Meshach King was born on October 31st, 1835 in Simpson, Kentucky.1 Meshach King's father was Jacob Spears and his mother was Nancy Finn. His paternal grandparents were William Spears and Susan Boren; his maternal grandparents were Meshach Finn and Elizabeth Welty. He had five brothers and two sisters, named William Wesley, Ambrose Jefferson, Alfred Marion, Christopher Columbus, George Washington, Mary Elizabeth and Mary Jane. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 85 in 1920.1 -
