Ambrose Jefferson Spears 
Ambrose Jefferson was born on June 1st, 1839 in Simpson, Kentucky.1 Ambrose Jefferson's father was Jacob Spears and his mother was Nancy Finn. His paternal grandparents were William Spears and Susan Boren; his maternal grandparents were Meshach Finn and Elizabeth Welty. He had five brothers and two sisters, named William Wesley, Meshach King, Alfred Marion, Christopher Columbus, George Washington, Mary Elizabeth and Mary Jane. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 66 on February 24th, 1906.1 -
