Alfred Marion Spears 
Alfred Marion was born on July 20th, 1842 in Simpson, Kentucky.1 Alfred Marion's father was Jacob Spears and his mother was Nancy Finn. His paternal grandparents were William Spears and Susan Boren; his maternal grandparents were Meshach Finn and Elizabeth Welty. He had five brothers and two sisters, named William Wesley, Meshach King, Ambrose Jefferson, Christopher Columbus, George Washington, Mary Elizabeth and Mary Jane. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 56 on October 16th, 1898.1 -
