William Secrest 
William was born on February 6th, 1828 in Ohio.1 William's father was Henry Secrest and his mother was Elizabeth Spaid. His paternal grandparents were Fredrick Secrest and Catherine Secrest; his maternal grandparents were George Nicholas Spaid(Spaht) and Elizabeth Cale. He had seven brothers and a sister, named John, Abraham, George W., Michael, Fredrick, Mathias, Valentine and Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 85 on November 3rd, 1913.1 -
