George W. Secrest 
George W. was born on October 15th, 1819 in Buffalo, Ohio.1 George W.'s father was Henry Secrest and his mother was Elizabeth Spaid. His paternal grandparents were Fredrick Secrest and Catherine Secrest; his maternal grandparents were George Nicholas Spaid(Spaht) and Elizabeth Cale. He had seven brothers and a sister, named John, Abraham, Michael, Fredrick, Mathias, William, Valentine and Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 45 on May 30th, 1865.1 -
