William Rood 
William was born in 1751.1 William's father was Azariah Rood and his mother was Desire Prime. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Rood and Margaret. He had three brothers and a sister, named David, Azariah, Silas and Betsey. He was the oldest of the five children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Thomas Drakeley, Desire and Lydia.1 -
