Silas Rood 
Silas was born on September 9th, 1759.1 Silas' father was Azariah Rood and his mother was Desire Prime. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Rood and Margaret. He had three brothers and a sister, named William, David, Azariah and Betsey. He was the youngest of the five children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Thomas Drakeley, Desire and Lydia.1 -
