Zina Pitcher Rich 
Zina Pitcher was born on September 19th, 1812 in Ticonderoga, Essex, NY.1 Zina Pitcher's father was Learned Rich and his mother was Amanda Pierce. His paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Rich and Phebe Putnam. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Erasmus Darwin, Unknown, Learned Bush, Smith Weed, Arthur Draper, Cornelis, Erasmus Darwin, Adeline, Unknown, Ann Amanda and Roana. He was the third oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 85 on March 28th, 1898 in Winthrop, Buchanan, IA. He was buried in IA.1 1 General Notes
