Sarah Reed

Sarah was born in 1845 in Scott, Tennessee.¹ Sarah's father was Campbell County Reed and her mother was Martha [Patsy] Ann Chitwood. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Reed and Phariba [Rachel] Hatfield; her maternal grandparents were William Chitwood and Sarah (Sally) Reed. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Joel C, Sampson, Rachel, Rebecca, Jupiter, Martha Ann and Delilah. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 73 in 1918 in Scott, Tennessee.¹
