Delilah Reed

Delilah was born in 1855 in Scott, Tennessee.¹ Delilah's father was Campbell County Reed and her mother was Martha [Patsy] Ann Chitwood. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Reed and Phariba [Rachel] Hatfield; her maternal grandparents were William Chitwood and Sarah (Sally) Reed. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Joel C, Sampson, Rachel, Rebecca, Sarah, Jupiter and Martha Ann. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 70 in 1925 in Scott, Tennessee.¹
