Joel C Reed

Joel C was born in 1850 in Scott, Tennessee.¹ Joel C's father was Campbell County Reed and his mother was Martha [Patsy] Ann Chitwood. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Reed and Phariba [Rachel] Hatfield; his maternal grandparents were William Chitwood and Sarah (Sally) Reed. He had a brother and six sisters, named Sampson, Rachel, Rebecca, Sarah, Jupiter, Martha Ann and Delilah. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 83 in 1933 in Scott, Tennessee.¹
