Maria Fredericke was born on January 1st, 1856 in CARMZOW, UCKERMARK, BRANDENBURG, PRUSSIA.1 Maria Fredericke's father was Carl Wilhelm Ploger and her mother was Anna Fredericke Antonie Brandt. Her paternal grandfather was Johan Gottfried Ploger; her maternal grandparents were Georg Carl Fredrick Brandt and Dorothea Sophie Grambow. She had a brother and five sisters, named August, Fredericke Wilhelmine, Fredericke Wilhelmine Ernestine, Hannah, Augusta and Antonio. She was the second oldest of the seven children.1 -
