Ruth Peabody

Ruth was born on February 7th, 1762 in Stonington, CT.¹ Ruth's father was Thomas Peabody and her mother was Ruth Babcock. Her paternal grandparents were William Pabodie and Jerusha Starr. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Jerusha, William, Thomas, Benjamin, John, Lemuel, Joseph, Lydia, Rebecca, Susannah, Lucy and Amy. She was the oldest of the thirteen children.¹
