Amy Peabody

Amy was born on February 22nd, 1779 in Stonington, CT.¹ Amy's father was Thomas Peabody and her mother was Ruth Babcock. Her paternal grandparents were William Pabodie and Jerusha Starr. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Jerusha, William, Thomas, Benjamin, John, Lemuel, Joseph, Ruth, Lydia, Rebecca, Susannah and Lucy. She was the second youngest of the thirteen children.¹
