Lucy Peabody

Lucy was born on June 26th, 1777 in Stonington, CT.¹ Lucy's father was Thomas Peabody and her mother was Ruth Babcock. Her paternal grandparents were William Pabodie and Jerusha Starr. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Jerusha, William, Thomas, Benjamin, John, Lemuel, Joseph, Ruth, Lydia, Rebecca, Susannah and Amy. She was the fourth youngest of the thirteen children.¹
