Lydia Peabody

Lydia was born on February 28th, 1766 in Stonington, CT.¹ Lydia's father was Thomas Peabody and her mother was Ruth Babcock. Her paternal grandparents were William Pabodie and Jerusha Starr. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Jerusha, William, Thomas, Benjamin, John, Lemuel, Joseph, Ruth, Rebecca, Susannah, Lucy and Amy. She was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children.¹
