Isaac Samuel was born on March 29th, 1840 in Fairfield Twp., Highland Co., OH.1 Isaac Samuel's father was Thomas Asbury Pavey and his mother was Sarah Lambert Johnson. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Pavey and Elizabeth Acman; his maternal grandparents were William Johnson and Jane Biggs Dowden. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Asbury, John Wesley, Francis, William Johnson, Thomas Asbury, Ashford Curry, Eli Martin, Elizabeth Jane, Sarah Ann, Rachel H., Mary Sophia and Becky Jane. He died at the age of 60 on September 8th, 1900.1 -
