¹ Becky Jane's father was Thomas Asbury Pavey and her mother was Sarah Lambert Johnson. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Pavey and Elizabeth Acman; her maternal grandparents were William Johnson and Jane Biggs Dowden. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named Asbury, John Wesley, Francis, William Johnson, Isaac Samuel, Thomas Asbury, Ashford Curry, Eli Martin, Elizabeth Jane, Sarah Ann, Rachel H. and Mary Sophia.¹
