Ashford Curry was born on August 8th, 1849 in Highland Co., OH.1 Ashford Curry's father was Thomas Asbury Pavey and his mother was Sarah Lambert Johnson. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Pavey and Elizabeth Acman; his maternal grandparents were William Johnson and Jane Biggs Dowden. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Asbury, John Wesley, Francis, William Johnson, Isaac Samuel, Thomas Asbury, Eli Martin, Elizabeth Jane, Sarah Ann, Rachel H., Mary Sophia and Becky Jane. He died at the age of 23 on November 6th, 1872 in Iowa.1 -
