Mary W. was born on June 21st, 1891 in Savannah, Chatham Co., GA.1 Mary W.'s father was John Thomas Parker and her mother was Marie Louise Black. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Parker and Mary Waters; her maternal grandparents were William Ashman Black and Mary Isabell Barnett. She had five brothers and three sisters, named William Ashman, Oliver, Warren, Richardson Sealy, Thomas U., Eugenia W., Ella L. and Miriam J.. She was the third youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 75 on March 20th, 1967. She was buried in Screven Co., GA.1 1 General Notes
