Susan Owen

Susan was born on May 3rd, 1799 in Bethel, Windsor County, VT.¹ Susan's father was Andrew Owen and her mother was Sarah Walden Newman. Her paternal grandparents were Sylvanus (Silvanus) Owen and Eunice Roberts. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Silas Whitman, David, Hiram, Eunice, Lucy, Amanda, Mary, Betsy and Alice. She was the second oldest of the ten children.¹
