Jonathan Newlin

Jonathan was born on June 5th, 1803 in Chatham, NC.¹ Jonathan's father was John Newlin and his mother was Sarah Holladay. His paternal grandparents were John Newlin and Mary Pyle; his maternal grandfather was Henry Holladay. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Jacob, Thomas, James, John, Eli, Nathaniel, William, Mary and Sarah. He was the youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 66 on March 4th, 1870 in Crawford, IL.¹
