John Newlin 
John was born in Chester, PA.1 John's father was Nathaniel Newlin and his mother was Mary Mendenhall. His paternal grandparents were Nicholas Newlin and Elizabeth Paggott; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Mendenhall and Joan Stoad. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Nicholas, Nathaniel, Mary, Jemima, Keziah and Elizabeth. He died about 1753.1 General Notes
