Olena (Lena) Sophia Nelson 
Olena (Lena) Sophia was born on September 30th, 1882 in Dell Rapids, South Dakota.1 Olena (Lena) Sophia's father was Nels Peter Nelson and her mother was Karoline Mortensen. Her maternal grandparents were Morten Olsen and Anna Marie Madsdatter. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named Charles Andrew, Martin Lester, Julius, Mary, Anna Mary, Alice Mary, Johanna (Hannah) Helen, Carrie Elizabeth, Lyda Esther and Clara. She was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 79 on June 12th, 1962 in Milton, Wisconsin.1 -
