Lyda Esther Nelson 
Lyda Esther was born on June 17th, 1888 in Dell Rapids, South Dakota.1 Lyda Esther's father was Nels Peter Nelson and her mother was Karoline Mortensen. Her maternal grandparents were Morten Olsen and Anna Marie Madsdatter. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named Charles Andrew, Martin Lester, Julius, Mary, Anna Mary, Alice Mary, Johanna (Hannah) Helen, Carrie Elizabeth, Olena (Lena) Sophia and Clara. She was the second youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 81 on May 19th, 1970 in Milton, Wisconsin.1 -
