Ben Mitchell Mincey

Ben Mitchell was born on April 14th, 1883.¹ Ben Mitchell's father was James Marion Mincey and his mother was Laura Jane Franklin. His paternal grandparents were Abraham Mincey and Elizabeth Ann Moore; his maternal grandparents were Mitchell Franklin and Mary Elizabeth Hendricks. He had six brothers and five sisters, and also two siblings of unknown gender, named Thomas Harvey, Ezra Van Buren, Otis Sawyer, James Cleveland, Watson Grady, Austin Upshaw, Ellen Virginia, Edna M., Annie Beatrice, Bessie Elizabeth, Olga H., Mincey and Mincey. He was the seventh oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 82 in 1965.¹
