Laura Jane Franklin

Laura Jane was born on October 8th, 1857 in GA.¹   Laura Jane's father was Mitchell Franklin and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Hendricks.  Her maternal grandparents were Wyley Hendricks and Cynthia Weathers. She had a brother and a sister, named Austin Jefferson and Harrelson.  She was the second oldest of the three children. She had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Wesley, Frank, Abscilla, Elizabeth, Mary Anne and Mattie.  She died at the age of 66 on October 28th, 1923.  She was buried in Bulloch Co., GA.^1 1
