Charles C. McCoy 
Charles C. was born in 1846 in OH.1 Charles C.'s father was Edward McCoy and his mother was Anna Reese. His paternal grandfather was ??? McCoy. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Lafayette Waldo, George, Edwin, May and Sarah. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 27 on December 13th, 1873 in Osnaburg, Stark, OH. He was buried in West Lawn Cem, Canton, OH.1 1 General Notes

!Cause of death: fell into a well. He is buried in West Lawn Cemetery, Section
T North End, Row 2. Janet Bushong and Sarah A. Van Voorhis are buried next to
him.
!Janet applied for pension records of her second husband, Daniel Bushong.
Charles had also served in the service (according to affidavits for Bushong
pension). Roster of Ohio Troops, pg. 183, Coy, Charles, Private, age 18,
entered service June 20, 1863, served 6 mos. and was mustered out with company
March 5, 1864.
