William K. Mallette 
William K. was born on October 21st, 1820.1 William K.'s father was Abraham Mallette and his mother was Catherine Kennedy. His paternal grandparents were Gideon Mallette and Hannah Elizabeth DeRoche; his maternal grandparents were William Kennedy and Elizabeth Treutlen. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Alpheus J., Gideon Asbury, Frances F., Eli Mcgee, Louis Myers, Sarah Ann, Elizabeth Aworda and Margaret Matilda. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 16 on October 27th, 1836. He was buried in Effingham Co., GA.1 1 General Notes
