Gideon Mallette 
Gideon was born on June 14th, 1759 in Purysburg, Beaufort Dist., SC.1 Gideon's father was Daniel Mallette and his mother was Mary Brunson. His paternal grandparents were Gideon Mallette and Mary Lombard; his maternal grandfather was Isaac Brunson. He had two brothers and a sister, named Abraham, Bartholomew and Mary Ann. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 63 on September 3rd, 1822 in Effingham Co., GA. He was buried in Effingham Co., GA.1 1 General Notes
