William was born in 1870.1   William's father was George Frederick Kienzle and his mother was Elizabeth Ambrosius.  His maternal grandparents were Adam Ambrosius and Catherine Bradenstein. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Frederick, George, Thedore, Mary, Frederica and Joanna.  He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.1
