Frederick was born in 1862.1   Frederick's father was George Frederick Kienzle and his mother was Elizabeth Ambrosius.  His maternal grandparents were Adam Ambrosius and Catherine Bradenstein. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William, George, Thedore, Mary, Frederica and Joanna.  He was the oldest of the seven children.1
