Truman Jones 
Truman was born on September 9th, 1812 in Whitehall, Washington, NY.1 Truman's father was Reuben Jones and his mother was Amy Bentley. His paternal grandparents were Cornelius Jones and Sarah Sanford. He had a brother named Zerah. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 81 on March 1st, 1894 in Warrenville, DuPage, Il.1 General Notes

Jun 1836 moved to Ashtabula Oh and purchased 120 Acres of timberland.
In the fall of 1837, moved to Illinois where he purchased 220 acreas of timberland.
He and his wife raised Mary Desire and Fred Manning after the death of their daughter - Mary Desire Jones Manning.
He and his wife are buried in Warrenville Cemetery, Warrenville, Il
