Samuel Mead Jones 
Samuel Mead was born on March 21st, 1841 in Illinois.1 Samuel Mead's father was Zerah Jones and his mother was Myraette Mead. His paternal grandparents were Reuben Jones and Amy Bentley. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Ezra, William Wallace, Rueben, Daniel, Elmira, Susan, Anna Mead, Melissa and Martha. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Horace and Mary.1 -
