Nicholas Holcombe

Nicholas was born in 1538 in Banscombe.¹ Nicholas' father was Ellis Holcombe and his mother was Elizabeth Sydenham. His paternal grandparents were Charles Holcombe and Jane Holcombe; his maternal grandfather was Thomas Sydenham. He had six brothers and a sister, named Tristram, Thomas, Robert, John, George, Walter and Jane. He was the second oldest of the eight children.¹
