Silas Hobson 
Silas was born about 1752 in Frederick, VA.1 Silas' father was George Hobson and his mother was Hannah Kinnison. His paternal grandparents were George Hobson and Elizabeth; his maternal grandparents were Edward Kinnison and Mary Greenaway. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Charles, George, James, Edward, Thomas, Stephen, William and Hannah.1 General Notes
