Hannah was born about 1750 in Frederick, VA.1 Hannah's father was George Hobson and her mother was Hannah Kinnison. Her paternal grandparents were George Hobson and Elizabeth; her maternal grandparents were Edward Kinnison and Mary Greenaway. She had eight brothers named Charles, George, James, Silas, Edward, Thomas, Stephen and William.1 General Notes
