John Robert Goff 
John Robert was born about 1850 in Richmond Co., GA.1 John Robert's father was Ellis Henry Goff and his mother was Jane Chavous. His paternal grandparents were James Goff and Adray H. Howard; his maternal grandparents were John Chavous and Unknown Persiler. He had a brother and a sister, named Ellis A. and Mary. He was the oldest of the three children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named James H., William Henry and VanDella.1 -
