Ellis A. Goff 
Ellis A. was born about 1857 in Richmond Co., GA.1 Ellis A.'s father was Ellis Henry Goff and his mother was Jane Chavous. His paternal grandparents were James Goff and Adray H. Howard; his maternal grandparents were John Chavous and Unknown Persiler. He had a brother and a sister, named John Robert and Mary. He was the youngest of the three children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named James H., William Henry and VanDella.1 -
