August John Glentz

August John was born on September 22nd, 1868 in Germany/Poland.  August John's father was John Glentz and his mother was Augustina Prahl.  His maternal grandparents were John Prahl and Maria Schuck. He had four brothers and nine sisters, named John Henry, Maximilian, Francis, Adalbert Philip, Mary, Rose, Martha Emma, Augustina, Elizabeth, Anna, Emily, Agnes and Theresa.  He was the oldest of the fourteen children.  He died at the age of 88 on April 30th, 1957 in Rogers City, Presque Isle County, Michigan.  He was buried on May 4th, 1957 in Hagensville, Preseque Isle County, Michigan.
