Mary Gilchrist

Mary was born in 1771.¹   Mary's father was John Gilchrist and her mother was Effie McMillan.  Her maternal grandparents were Gilbert McMillan and Christian. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Angus, Archibald, Maclolm, Gilbert, John, Margaret, Flora and Linlie.  She was the oldest of the nine children. She had a half-sister named Effie.  She died at the age of 72 on November 20th, 1843.¹
