Margaret Gilchrist

Margaret was born in 1775.¹   Margaret's father was John Gilchrist and her mother was Effie McMillan.  Her maternal grandparents were Gilbert McMillan and Christian. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Angus, Archibald, Maclolm, Gilbert, John, Mary, Flora and Linlie.  She was the third oldest of the nine children. She had a half-sister named Effie.¹
